Dear Sir or Madame,
It was just announced a few days ago that internships were closed. No more intenships [sic]. Meaning, as I understand it (and I've checked as I'm in the same boat as you), that if you haven't added the course they aren't going to let you.
But I could be wrong.
And this, ladies and gentleman, is why I panicked about my for-credit internship a week ago, when they told us that they were closing all registrations for people who hadn't registered for class(es). Since I panicked immediately after the email went out, I managed to get my adviser on the line and sneak into the for-credit internships under the wire.
This is also why you should make sure you're on the official announcement list for whatever programs you're in. You actually find out if they're planning to fuck you over and when.

Oh hey, new eggs. Didn't notice that.

In other news, I'm going to see Hyde tonight. I get a free ticket, so I might as well go listen to bad J-rock. |

Happy Mother's Day. Have some dragonspam.
A more interesting update will come eventually, I promise. Probably after finals are over.

No, I didn't watch Supernatural tonight. But a friend decided I needed to have the blow-by-blow. Apparently, their faily race issues are showing again.
WTF, writers.
( Explanation is a bit of a spoiler for tonight's episode. )
The bolded one is this past episode. It's nice to know Supernatural hasn't given up on it's aggressive RaceFail along with it's usual GenderFail!
In other news, these guys need love:

I doubt any of you particularly care, but I'm bored and apparently procrastinating a bit, so an update on that dragon-thing:
I've got one hatchling (Archangel Litheroy):

And four unnamed eggs I picked up yesterday:

And also, eight adult dragons who can be seen here and on my profile page.
If anyone wants to suggest names for the unhatched dragons, I'm open. |

So, there's this thing. That I've been doing.
See there's this website where you can pick up dragon eggs. And you have to get people to click on them or they die. (I may have possibly killed my first two by forgetting to put them up anywhere...) It's a little addictive, in that you know when they're going to put out new eggs for adoption, and you sit there, trying to get the eggs you want-- of course you can't have more than a handful of eggs at a time anyway.
I don't really like spamming my flist, so I haven't posted about them at all, but my first three have hatched, so I though you all might like to see!
Also, I have a fourth egg that hasn't quite hatched and three new ones I just picked up.

Now that they're hatched, I can name the hatchling dragons, so... POLL!
Poll #1229056 McShep will never happen, you delusional freaks
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 6What should I name the white one? What should I name the grey one? What should I name the mint one?
Edit: In case anyone's wondering why you can't see the last three eggs-- if they get too many views in too short a time-span they get sick, so I'm hiding them until they're feeling up to company again. |
